Michelle Evans

A Leader Who Gets Things Done for Woodinville

Michelle Evans is a dedicated public servant, former small business owner, longtime neighbor, and mom who believes in real leadership, not just rhetoric. Since being elected to City Council, she has rolled up her sleeves to tackle the issues that matter most to our community—safer streets, affordable housing, preserving green spaces, and supporting local businesses.

Rooted in Woodinville

Michelle has called Woodinville home for over 17 years. As a mom, animal lover, and active member of the community, she understands the challenges and hopes of local families and businesses. She is a strong advocate for improving parks and public spaces (including advocating for a dog park), to ensure Woodinville remains a vibrant and welcoming place for all.

Committed to Listening & Action

Government should work for all the people in our community - not just those with the deepest pockets and loudest insults. That’s why Michelle is committed to transparency, real community engagement, and data-driven decision-making. She regularly meets with residents, and businesses, hosts listening sessions, and ensures that everyone in Woodinville has a voice in shaping our city’s future

Connecting Woodinville through Eastrail

As your Woodinville City Council representative, I proudly serve on the Eastrail Regional Advisory Council, working to transform a former rail line into a vibrant multi-use trail that connects communities from Renton to Snohomish. This project is about more than just recreation—Eastrail will boost local economies, increase access to green spaces, and provide safe, sustainable transportation alternatives. I’m committed to ensuring Woodinville’s voice is at the table as we shape this incredible regional asset.

Advocating for Local Business, Building a Thriving Community

As the Woodinville City Council liaison to the Chamber of Commerce, I serve as a bridge between our business community and city leadership—making sure business owners, leaders and entrepreneurs have a real voice in the decisions that shape our city. I also chair the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC), which invests tourism dollars into programs that strengthen our local economy, like the Celebrate Woodinville summer concert series. Whether it’s supporting small business recovery, attracting visitors, or championing local events, I’m proud to lead efforts that keep Woodinville’s economy vibrant and community connected.

Board Member of the Woodinville Arts Alliance

Michelle is deeply committed to fostering a vibrant arts scene in Woodinville. As a board member of the Woodinville Arts Alliance, she has championed opportunities for local artists and performers to showcase their talents, enriching the cultural fabric of the community. Michelle also actively supports the development of the Woodinville Creative District, an initiative aimed at cultivating a dynamic hub for the arts, enhancing economic diversity, and celebrating the city's creative spirit. She believes that the arts are essential—not only for cultural enrichment but also for strengthening community bonds and driving economic vitality.

Join the Movement

Michelle is running for re-election because Woodinville deserves a leader who finishes the job. From tackling traffic congestion and expanding community resources to standing up against the political games threatening our progress, Michelle’s ready to keep fighting for facts, transparency, and real results. The work isn’t done—and she’s not backing down.
